The Saratoga Springs Rotary Club awarded $48,000 in scholarships to twelve area students at its May 29 luncheon.
Isabelle O’Donnell, of the Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs, received the $16,000 Presidential Scholarship, which will provide $4,000 for each of her four years of college.
The Alfred Z. Solomon scholarship of $5,000 was given to John Towers, a senior at Saratoga Springs High School. The Saratoga Springs Rotary Education Foundation provides the funding for the scholarships.
